Closures & Holidays

HOLIDAYS CLOSED:  The center will be closed on the following holidays: Labor Day, Nevada Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after, the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Presidents Day and Juneteenth.  In addition, we will close at 2 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. There is no reduction in tuition for those days.

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS: We have 4 professional development days a year that are required by the state. They will be on the 3rd Monday every January, April, July & Oct. We will be CLOSED these days for our teachers to renew their certifications or prep for the upcoming curriculum for the year. Firm dates will be given ahead of time. There is no reduction in tuition for those days.

 

SMOKE & SNOW DAYS: If there is a smoke day or snow day for WCSD,we are remain open. Smoke days do not affect our hours. Snow days will result in a delay in opening by 2 hours, 8:30am.
